Terms
Terms of Service
These are the ground rules for using rftmedia.com. They're written to be read, not to hide anything. If you use this site, here's what you can expect from us and what we ask of you.
Using This Site
You're welcome here. Use the site in good faith.
You're free to read rftmedia.com, browse our work, and reach out to us. In return, we ask that you use the site the way it's meant to be used. Don't try to break it, don't try to get into parts of it that aren't public, and don't use it to do anything illegal or to harm other people.
If you send us a message through the contact form, send us real information. We reply to real people about real work.
What This Site Is
This is a marketing site, not a contract.
Everything on rftmedia.com is here to tell you about RFT Media and what we build. Pricing, service descriptions, and timelines are shared to give you a clear picture, and they're a starting point for a conversation.
Nothing on this site is a binding offer or an agreement to do work. Any actual engagement between you and RFT Media is set out in its own written agreement that we both sign. If something here and a signed agreement ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.
Our Work Is Ours
The content on this site belongs to RFT Media.
The writing, design, code, and marks on rftmedia.com are ours, except where we credit someone else. You're welcome to link to our pages and to quote us fairly. Please don't copy the site wholesale or pass our work off as your own.
The lone star and the RFT Media name are part of how people recognize us. Use them to refer to us, not to imply we endorse or are involved in something we're not.
Links Out
We sometimes point to other sites.
Now and then we link to tools, partners, or references that live somewhere other than rftmedia.com. We link to things we think are worth a look, but we don't run those sites and we can't stand behind what's on them. Once you leave our site, their rules apply, not ours.
No Guarantees
We keep this site accurate, but we can't promise perfection.
We work to keep rftmedia.com correct and available, and we do fix things when they're wrong or broken. Even so, we can't promise the site will always be up, always be current, or always be free of errors. We may change, add, or remove pages as the business changes.
So the site is offered as is. To the extent the law allows, RFT Media isn't liable for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, this website. This doesn't limit anything we've separately agreed to in a signed client contract.
Changes
These terms can change, and the date will say when.
As the site and the business grow, we may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after that means the updated terms apply to you.
Where We Stand
We're a Texas shop, and Texas law governs.
RFT Media operates out of Nederland, Texas. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If a real dispute ever comes up, we'd much rather talk it through with you first, so reach out before anything gets formal.
