A brochure site turned into an investor-grade presence.
A custom site with an interactive grid map and a gated investor data room, plus an ongoing strategy-and-data partnership.
A patent-holding advanced-energy technology company had a single-page brochure site that showed none of its actual portfolio. It was “credibility-light,” in the internal assessment, while the company raised against a serious technical program that deserved better.
We rebuilt the brand and web presence as a custom application: a full technology section, an interactive grid and energy-market map (D3-geo + TopoJSON) tying the technology to real market context, animated technical schematics, and durable, validated contact intake persisted to Postgres. For fundraising we built a gated investor data room: a passcode-protected area behind an HMAC-signed, expiring, HttpOnly cookie with constant-time comparison and fail-closed behavior in production. Beyond the site, we serve as the company’s ongoing strategy-and-data partner: an independently verified patent-portfolio brief, a research fact-check, business-plan review, and policy and federal-engagement analysis.
- The company replaced a brochure that undersold it with an investor-grade presence that finally shows its actual portfolio and technology.
- A secure, gated data room gives it a professional channel for sensitive investor materials, table stakes for a serious raise that it didn’t previously have.
- It gained an ongoing technical-and-data partner producing diligence-grade research, not just a website vendor: a verified patent brief, fact-check, and policy analysis.
- The web presence is now a custom application the company owns and can extend, with validated, persisted intake instead of a form that goes nowhere.
